Sony BDP-S490 Corrupt media file

Hi!
Since buying a BDP-S490 it has been unable to play anything, since the ESonyBDP quirks aren't supported by the player.
It appears that modern Sony Blu-ray firmware works without quirks; the patch at [1] fixes it perfectly for me.
Unfortunately I can't find a more general solution, because the new and the old (BDP-S373) identify themselves in exactly the same way:
Date: Wed, 02 Jan 2013 19:29:41 GMT
User-Agent: UPnP/1.0
X-AV-Physical-Unit-Info: pa="Blu-ray Disc Player";
X-AV-Client-Info: av=5.0; cn="Sony Corporation"; mn="Blu-ray Disc Player"; mv="2.0";
Perhaps a config file option?

Solution would be to have two different profiles (one for use when older Sony BD players connect, and one for these newer players), and then allow assigning a specific profile to an IP address. Then just set each player on a static IP so it uses the right profile.
An excellent idea.
I think that it may be sensible to put an example configuration into the sample config file for Sony BDPs, because I think that newer firmwares even on older players don't exhibit this problem.
Thanks for the information. Would you be able to check if it works by just changing the CI= indicator flag value to 1 instead of 0 for the quirk items?
Er... I'm so sorry it's been so long(!) The CI=0 flag change did indeed fix it for me, thank you...
