[Mingw-users] Possible Copyright Infringement

Hello
I would like to report a possible copyright infringement. To the point, I admit
to copying the MinGW installation binary, as well as the GCC Core
binary and GCC Java binary for backup purposes.
Is this a copyright infringement and/or violation of the licence agreement for
your software?

Also follow the GPL link on that page.

In my absolutely non-expert opinion I think under the GPL it
is safe to do what you wish with the binaries as long as you
don't distribute them to others. Thus for GCC core you are
probably safe as long as the backups are personal.
