You really want to use >the latest one. And there are problems even with that. C++ is an ongoing problem for gdb. Another thing to consider is building gdb with the "mi" interface, configure --enable-gdbmi . That is specifically designed to allow the control of gdb via external things like an IDE. It isn't 100% complete yet but it is being actively worked on. cgf |
