I updated my current Msys/MinGW installation to the lastest via mingw-get. I encounted a problem with glade3-3.6.7 after updating and the ide will not start because of a page fault error. I had to revert back to zlib 1.2.5 and glade3 starts ok again. I run this configuration (mingw 32 bit) on Window 7 Pro 64 bit. This is not platform specific on Fedora 15 updating the mingw zlib package to zlib 1.2.7 causes the same problem when running glade3 on wine. Again reverting back to the mingw zlib 1.2.5 package fixes the problem. I rebuild the libraries for gtk2 using zlib 1.2.7 to check if the problem was a shared library issue but this has no effect and glade will simply not start if the zlib 1.2.7 is installed.
I copied the log crash report fronm wine below and has anybody else had problems with the zlib update?
Yours Martin

Is this perhaps a user environment issue?

I don't know, but I'm fairly certain Charles Wilson will not be pursuing it, (since he is no longer an active project participant); perhaps Cesar would care to comment?

FWIW, running MSYS under wine seems like a fairly futile exercise, to me, but if the issue is reproducible in MSYS on Windows, (and the OP seems to indicate that it is), then some follow up action would appear to be appropriate.
