Damn, I forgot the birthday of my Free Software baby again :)
It's now 2 years already (well, on September 1st to be exact), and today I'll add another developer who will hack on KaBoom.
The server will be part of GGZ eventually and the client goes into KDE.
And I have printed out an image to be transferred onto a T-Shirt, which says "MindX - Free Software Advocates".
I'll wear that on the Comtec fair in about one month.
Now what's up with the philosophy part of MindX - here come the top 5 and the flop 5 of the last 12 months:
Flop: TuxRacer going closed-source, Proprietary games gaining more influence (like SL working for blizzard), FreeCNC project shutdown, still no free Quake2, KCiv 3 years without any commits (uh-oh).
Top: My current main project GGZ maturing quickly, FS games recognized by media (like GFC Greve or what-is-still-needed polls), Civil, joining forces for KDE games, and WorldForge's progress.
But back to the birthday:
MindX is a successful project :-)
