Are there any plans to setup a "searchable" user-forum
(such as phpbb2)?
I am quite willing to host this for you, since I believe
that this could be very usefull to the user community.
Just drop me a note on :

Let me take a look a phpbb2, so I know what you're referring to.

On my site, you can see that integrated into Postnuke. I
have seen it also somewhere on sourceforge(do not ask
    where, wouldn't no anymore).

The current forum/tracker,for me, is difficult to use since it is
hard to find what has been discussed before.

Might save you a lot of work.

So you want to index discussion threads?

Yes, that would be nice. I suppose you have seen the boards
I am referring to. You're happy to try it out on mysite, could
make the 2 of you moderators and so on.

There's a data-mining plugin in the commercial version that
would make this absolutely trivial. Without that...

If we can grab each new post as it's entered, we could call
the mind::learnThoughtPreweighted method I referred to in
your "dataloading" request. The code I provided is all
that's necessary to add a thought to the system. We could do
it in Postnuke, but I'd need to look at the API manual.
Haven't messed with PN in quite a while.

    Rich,
actually what I mean, is a change of from this forum (tracker
& Bugs). When we could create an option to transform a
thread from the forum into a "thought" obviously would be
great. But as a starter, replacing the tracker & Bugs with
something like (pn)phpbb2 would be ok.
