Hello! I've defined \newtheorem{definition}{Definition}[section] \newtheorem{theorem}{Theorem}[section] using the ams package and I'm searching for a way to create the new commands \listofdefinitions and \listoftheorems which would create a list of definitions and a list of theorems, just like the \listoffigures insert lists of figures. Does anyone know how to make it? Thanks, Beno=EEt

Use the ntheorem package and add the lines \listtheorem{theorem} \listtheorems{definition} to the preamble of your document. Best regards, Jose Carlos Santos

This package seems fine, but it displays the list of theorems with their labels (i.e. 3.1.2, 3.1.3, etc.). Do you know how to put the name of the theorems instead? And how to add the title 'List of theorems' like \listoffigures does? If I create a definition by \begin{definition}[name] blablabla \end{definition} it will print 'name' in the list of theorems. However, it prints it also in the definition itself. How can I avoid to print 'name' in the definition, while 'name' is still in the list of theorems?
