#2190 pdfopen / pdfclose don't work with Acrobat/Adobe Reader XI

MiKTeX comes with the 2 files pdfopen and psdfclose.exe in its "bin" folder. These programs worked fine until now, but after an upgrade to Adobe Reader XI they fail.

I cannot find the source files of these programs to update them but I found that this has already been done because in
http://ctan.mirror.ac.za/systems/win32/w32tex/ChangeLog
they write
"[2012/10/15]
(01) pdftex-w32.tar.xz
support Adobe Reader XI and Adobe Acrobat XI in pdfopen and pdfclose."

So perhaps it is enough to grab the fixed files there and ship them with the next MikTeX update.

    I tested the pdfopen/pdfclose.exe from
    http://www.tex.ac.uk/tex-archive/systems/win32/w32tex/pdftex-w32.tar.xz
    and the do the job.
Their license is a free one so including the files to MiKTeX should be possible without problems.

See also my answer to pdfopen / pdfclose don't work with Acrobat/Adobe Reader XI on tex.stackexchange.com.

    I made a local test:

    pdfopen --file=blindtext.pdf

arctrl: The DDE conversation could not be established.

but the file is opened anyway in my default PDF reader, that is not the Adobe reader, and which does not understand DDE.

pdfclose is without effect, what I anticipated, then:

    pdfclose --file=blindtext.pdf

arctrl: The DDE conversation could not be established.
