\end{document}
C:\texmf\miktex\bin\texify.exe -V --src --run-viewer
Strukturprüfung.ltx
-> Yap crashes
rename to Strukturpruefung.ltx
C:\texmf\miktex\bin\texify.exe -V --src --run-viewer
Strukturpruefung.ltx

This behaviour is reproducible.

Thanks for the report. What do you mean when you say
"Yap crashes"?

After dismissing the dialog boxes with a click on their
"Ok"-Buttons Yap ...well ... "crashes"; the task is
terminated by the OS and the Yap's main window is closed.
The same happens if one double clicks on the
Strukturprfung.dvi-file to view it with Yap.

You didn't mention any dialog boxes. What dialog boxes
are displayed?

I have already uploaded a screenshot with my last comment,
it is the yapcrash.gif

After completely reinstalling MikTeX 2.4 I notice the following
strange behavior of YAP.
If the name of my tex file contains german umlauts (example:
lsung.tex), then YAP does not crash but in the YAP window
each line begins with the last part of the file name (in the
example: sung.tex). If I rename the file, so that the name
does not have any umlauts, then YAP works fine.
Before the new installation of MikTeX, I used
umlauts in file names all the time. Nothing similar
happened then. The 'strange behavior' is definitely
a new one.

Sorry, in my previous comment I forgot to mention that I
used documentclass{amsart}. For documentclass{article}
YAP indeed crashes ('Cannot open dvi-file...').
