Hi,
We were doing Mifos customization for a MFI. Now they wanted Mifos to
work offline and online both. So we thought of installing Mifos
locally at every branch, and then send the data in batch mode to the
central server. In this way the software will work both offline and
online, and data transfer will happen in batch mode.
Now we had done the setup complete and starting doing the data load,
The data works fine on server, but the branch computers are not having
a better hardware, so we are facing "Heap memory" errors on starting
the application.
Now i think that the error is because the hardware is not that Robust.
But even if we improve the hardware, i am skeptical that this model
will work in the long term. Because as the data increases, the issues
will again come and that too for all the branches.
Has anyone tried to do something like this before ? Please let me know
your inputs
