[Mifos-developer] Introduction – Satyam Mishra

Hi,

My name is *Satyam Mishra* (GitHub: saksham869
<https://github.com/saksham869>), and this is my first time joining the
Mifos Developer Community.

I am excited to start contributing to *Apache Fineract* and the *Mifos AI
initiative*.
Here’s a brief background about me: I have experience in *Java, Python,
Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring AI, MySQL, Docker*, and *backend/API
development*. I am particularly passionate about applying these skills in
the *fintech domain*.

I have explored both the *Fineract* and *Mifos AI* repositories and found
that they align closely with my interests. In particular, I have an initial
idea for *Mifos AI* involving a *chatbot and Retrieval-Augmented Generation
(RAG) workflows*, which I’d love to discuss further with a mentor to refine
and develop.

Could someone please guide me to a suitable introductory JIRA ticket or
recommend a good first task? I would also appreciate being connected
with a *mentor
for Mifos AI* to discuss my idea and possible next steps.
