should be the first place you ask your questions as you'll have the best
chance of getting a quick response by reaching everyone in the community
including community support and training staff like Sangamesh.

Within Mifos X, we chose to by default allow a lot of flexibility including
the ability to change terms of a savings product for individual account
instances. We now recognize that this isn't ideal and are allowing the
administrator to select at time of product creation whether or not a
configuration/parameter (i.e. saving term) can be overridden and changed
when creating a new savings account.

In your use cases, which parameters would you still want editable at the
time of creating a new savings account?

Binny - could you please respond as to when we're delivering this
functionality?
