#8 Play but don't display selected tracks

I'm trying to learn the piano part of a piano concerto. The Android app on my phone can sit on the piano, and does an awesome job of displaying just the piano tracks (4,5,11 in this case) but I can't get it to play all tracks while only displaying the piano tracks.

I want to be able to do this so I can have the full orchestral accompaniment while only having to visually keep track of the piano part.

This seems like an easy feature to code and I can't begin to tell you how much it would mean to me if it were implemented.

Learning this concerto--Mozart, B-flat, K595--is at the top of my bucket list and this app has already gotten me much closer :)

i think its the best player for small android tabs (I use nexus 7)
Its not only useable to learn piano, but also to look and hear ANY
standard-midi file.
So it would be very nice to select the different tracks in a own menu
(on/off, solo, instrument, transpose)
Is this very difficult?
Additionally, it would be a milestone when you can select it while playing..

FYI... this does appear to work on Ubuntu. If you "hide" a track it becomes muted automatically. But you can then unmute the track. If you have a large number of tracks, it seems you can do this:
1) Tracks --> Display --> Deselect all tracks
2) Tracks --> Display --> Select the piano track(s)
3) Tracks --> Mute --> Unmute all tracks

All tracks play and only the desired tracks are shown.

I concur this doesn't seem to work at the moment on Android.

I confirm it doesn't work on Android. There is no way to "unmute all"/"unhide all" in Android, other than selecting individual tracks.

As soon as I deselect a track in the list of tracks to display, it will not be shown and not play, no matter what I select in the list of tracks to mute.

I agree with the ticket creator that it would be very handy if hiding and muting tracks were independent of one another. It would allow me to practice my part in a choir by looking at my part while listening to all parts, i.e. other voices plus piano – inportant for practicing the right spot to pick up after a rest.
