Hello,
I am new to using MidiShare. My goal is to send and
receive info to/from my keyboard. I experienced a
crash of Tutorial2 when my midi keyboard was plugged
in (it's supposed to be plugged in, right?).
this is what I've done:
I installed MidiShare-1.90 Package. I am running OS
10.3.5.
To run the tutorials n MidiShare\ Development\
Kit/Java/Samples/Tutorial, first I had to change 2
deprecated methods of textArea: appendText and
replaceText.
Tutorial1 runs without crashing. Tutorial2 gets to
method test6(), but crashes on line: int ref =
Midi.Open("foo"); Note that it only crashes when my
midi keyboard (Edirol PRC80) is plugged in/turned on.
java crashes with message:
*** malloc[7284]: Deallocation of a pointer not
malloced: 0x1b84e00; This could be a double free(), or
free() called with the middle of an allocated block;
Try setting environment variable MallocHelp to see
tools to help debug
Bus error
any help/comment will be greatly appreciated,
thanks,
George
