midipiano_chung is a standalone virtual midi acoustic piano synthesizer /expander with samples based sounds and originals dsps effects, connected to the choozen virtual midi input (up to 3 if any) and midiout(thru) ports of your computer.It is easily extensible by adding or modifying sound files (mp3,wav) in the /sounds/ folder.Works well as output for midi_chung player and midirec_chung recorder or an external usb midi master keyboard. It is written in compiled freebasic and uses fbsound(freebasic). Can run on a small netbook with windows7.

I still do not understand whether it is possible to use the program without a real synthesizer? And how to turn on the virtual piano? I did not understand.

Also, please make detailed instructions for using the program.

you have nothing to activate, the program is a virtual piano. just select the input midi in port
(key M (midi)) if any and ouput you midi keyboard or sequencer or midi player to this port.

if you have no input midi in/out port , you can allways use the program alone as a single midifile reader / recorder (key W (recorder))
