Cannot install binary on Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS kxstudio, it complains about a package already installed:

sudo dpkg -i midieditor-2.5.0-i386.deb
[sudo] password for migtei:
dpkg: error al procesar midieditor-2.5.0-i386.deb (--install):
analizando archivo «/var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci/control» cerca de la línea 6 paquete «midieditor»:
'Depends' field, reference to 'qt4-dev-tools': invalid architecture name 'i386': a value different from 'any' is currently not allowed
Se encontraron errores al procesar:
midieditor-2.5.0-i386.deb

Confirm qt4-dev-tools is installed:

dpkg -l qt4-dev*
ii qt4-dev-tools 4:4.8.2+dfsg-2ubuntu1~precis Qt 4 development tools

Looking inside the file "midieditor-2.5.0-i386.deb" the "control" file reads:
qt4-dev-tools:i386
whereas the "control~" file reads:
qt4-dev-tools

Will try to force it. I hope the new interface is easier to see due to former lack of contrast. Good work, thanks.

    Good news.
So using this tool I removed ":i386" from the control file:
    http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=636724&page=2

It now installs, so its a small change to make it work.
Interface contrast very much improved from previous difficult to read.
    Great job.
