I have tried installing both versions 2.1 and 2.05 for the Mac. After installation which completes sucessfully, the program starts to open then quits. I doublechecked that I had X11 installed, but now I think I might not have the correct videocard. Will this program run with a ATI Mobility Radeon 9550 with 32 MB of VRAM?

Yes as that is what I'm using to run this software.
Did you find out how to open it? I am having the exact same problem.
