I wonder if you could please consider adding a facility into your
MHP tester program such that the program would display a
sequence of images one by one, moving to the next picture when
the VK_ENTER key is pushed and leaving the sequence when
another key is pushed.
There would be a list of file names in a text file named filelist.txt
and so the MHP tester program would be customizable by
whatever is placed in the file filelist.txt by a broadcaster.
It could be that all the images are 720 pixels by 576 pixels or it
could be that the images can be any size up to 720 pixels by 576
pixels in which case the MHP tester program could centre each
image on the screen.
This would be useful in its own right as a test facility and would
also be an important step towards there being open source MHP
applications for such facilities as an Art Gallery program and a
straightforward generic programmed learning program which
could be used in distance education by allowing an end user to
key red, green, yellow or blue so as to select a route through a
sequence of image files. A person preparing a straightforward
distance education package would then need only to prepare
some image files and a text file to control the selection of the
sequences.
