Found Path Errors in .php files

When installing Mhelpdesk,
I noticed that I had to edit all the .php files and change the
include paths to the correct path. Normally ../inc/file.php.
This should be fixed to help the newer users.
Second, it would be nice to have a auto install php interface. This
will help all those that are not to familiar with MySQL command
line issues. Hence, make the usability more user friendly.
Third, it would be nice to see a customer side of Mhelpdesk with
less or restricted functions. Hence, only able to add a ticket and
they would be forced to add their address, name, number, and
so on.
I myself will try to work on a few of these issues and submit
them back to the mantis project.

I am a "newer user" (completely new to php/mysql).
I really like the look of MHelpdesk, but I don't know how to fix this
include path problem (which I assume is what I am experiencing).
My files are hosted at lunarpages, where I only have access to a control
panel (no telnet). I don't understand the instructions given in the install
file:
"There is a .htaccess file in the root directory. This contains the
ErrorDocument
and the php include_path. You can either remove this file and add the
include paths
to the php.ini or edit apache to allow you to use .htaccess files. If you
choose
to use the .htaccess file, please edit it with the correct path to the
include
directory. There should be no need to change the ErrorDocument paths."
I know this item is old, but can anyone help?
Thanks,
Steve
