Support Requests item #1122655, was opened at 2005-02-14 14:13 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=213357&aid=1122655&group_id=13357 Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Jonathan Hankins (jhankins) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Whitespace in pick expressions Initial Comment: Is it possible to specify a pick expression containing whitespace, eg, in mh-narrow-to-subject: Highlight a message with whitespace in the subject (Subject: foo bar baz) / s narrows to all messages with identical subject, however, C-u / s RET ("Pick expression: -subject foo bar baz" appears in minibuffer, leave unchanged and press RET) Gives an error. I put a shell wrapper around /usr/bin/mh/pick, and the latter call to pick is calling it as: pick ... "-subject" "foo" "bar" "baz", where pick expects a single argument to -subject. Output from mh-version: MH-E 7.82 MH-E compilation details: Byte compiled: yes Gnus (compile-time): Gnus v5.10.7 Gnus (run-time): Gnus v5.10.7 GNU Emacs 21.3.1 (i386-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars) of 2005-02-03 on trouble, modified by Debian nmh 1.1 mh-progs: /usr/bin/mh mh-lib: /etc/nmh mh-lib-progs: /usr/lib/mh ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=213357&aid=1122655&group_id=13357 |
