I like this idea too. I've often been reading a message in a thread and
wanted to read a previous message. Since we just show unseen messages,
that usually involved a "C-u F r last:50" or something.
Clicking on a References link should add that message to the current
view. But what if it is in another folder?
For mouseless keyboard entry, moving the cursor to the link and hitting
return should accomplish the same thing.
Peter, since you brought the ideas up, I'll give you the first shot at
summarizing these ideas into feature requests.
