попытке соединения пишет, соединяюсь с www.google.com ,
авторизация.... ответ от сервера - ошибка авторизации:
incorrect encoding
И так по кругу до бесконечности. Отключил
авторекконнект и вот "лог".

I do not understand that russian, however I have a log
looking very much like that with version 0.2.1, on a SE K608i
I have also tested with versions 0.2.0 and 0.1.3 those
simply say Google authentication error, I believe it's the
same after all...

I think some part of this connection failature is caused because Google Talk
requires a SSL connection because only support plain text authentication. And
if your phone, or your service provider does not support SSL sockets, it will
fail. Another issue to check is that if your Midlet is not certified or hacked to
have all privileges it will not accept an invalid or autosigned SSL certificate.
And the actual google ssl certificate appears to be caducated or autosigned.

I will try give all privileges to the MGTalk midlet on my ROKR, but I dont have
a Windows box to use MotoMidMan. I use Mac OS X and the only utilities I
have is Moto4Lin (the KJava explorer part is very buggy, but the file manager
works great) and flasher (it works good to install MP, Language Packs and
reflash your firmware version).

Does anybody know how give manually a midlet full privileges? I mean,
maybe some seem edit, or hex edit some file on the phone?

I'm using a jabber.org account, and connect to it without ssl to chat with my
gTalk contacts. Jabber.org, Tipic.com and GTalk servers are now
'interconnected'

I'm looking for some simple proxy/tunnel (written on perl/php/phyton/ruby)
that receive a no-ssl connection and convert it on ssl and send the received
source data to the gTalk server ssl encoded. Does any body know anything
about it?

I have seen that MGTalk 2.1 version, don't connect with a JID (user@domain/
resource) containing the 'resource' parameter. I don't know if that can cause a
trouble. But it's a detail that may be have to be checked.

For now, I can only connect to standard Jabber servers (jabber.org in my case)
without SSL.

I'm workink on a Jabber bot, using ruby and jabber4r module. It connects to a
jabber account and forward all received messages to my phone via SMS.
Additionaly i can execute commands on the host (where my ruby client
resides) and get the results as a response message. My scripts works OK with
iChat,Adium (Mac OS X), Gaim (linux), and mobber (J2ME@ROKR). But in
MGTalk I don't receive any response, even the little response "Your message
has been sent via SMS" that my script generates is received by MGTalk. I had
find that MGTalk don't send a Message ID on every message, may be, that can
confuse the another client. It's good to generate a MessageID.

I like a lot the Interface and Structure of MGTalk. Buy it seems to have
important bugs. I hope can have the time to check the source and find some
fixes (I just need to study some of the classes it use, upss :( ).

In sort I will publish my "JabberRemote" bot (as I called it). It connects to a
jabber server (not GTalk actually) and keep listening for messages and
subscriptions. It have auto-recconect feature actually working ok. And I think
it is very configurable and extendible. May be It can have a pop3 and smtp
interfaces so you can access your email of any account from a Jabber client.
And I will be very pleased to use MGTalk as my remote mobile client.
