#1 chat window not displaying text

On my Sony Eicsson K750i the sent and recieved text is
no displayed correctly. only an empty rectangle appears.
When I go back to the roster and then back again to the
chat window, the text finally appears in the rectangles.
I tried with different themes because I thought my
phone theme could be the problem but it always happens.

The same is true for the SonyEricsson W810i. You kind of get
the feeling that the font is too small. But that's only a huess.

Hello again

Also on the SonyEricsson W810i there is no text in the
"Mailbox" showing new mail. I get the notification that
there is new mail available, and it says how many messages
are available. But the rectangles showing the messages are
empty.

Not sure if this is the same issue, but here I have a SE K750i with "Tiles" theme, which has a dark-almost-black background and a bright-almost-white text.

mgtalk looks like is using the phone foreground color (almost-white) for text, and a hardcoded white for background. This leads to text impossible to be read.
