Both ver 1.0 and 1.1A are crashing when flying a
helicopter near enemy airbase (a lot of vehicles there firin
g at me - cannot identify exact cause). With a SB Live
Platinum computer reboots (like reset was presed), with
SB removed and ALC650 + VIA 8235 on-board computer
freezes with black screen. It takes usually about 1-1.5
hours of play to get there - no other problems in the
meanwhile. After reboot with SB Live, WinXP reports that
the cause of crash was a driver. After reboot with
on-board sound, XP don't says anything.
Computer configuration:
Asus A7V8X (VIA KT400)
AMD Athlon XP 2000+ (not overclocked, very stable)
nVidia GeForce 5200FX, last official drivers (MS signed)
SB Live Platinum, last drivers (august 03, but previous
drivers have the same symthoms)
Windows XP SP1 + all patches from WinUpdate.
Network: on-board Broadcom 4401 and 3COM905C PCI.
Game played as single-player commander.
No other crashed in original Flashpoint or Resistence.
Sometimes some sounds dissapears while playing (voices,
explosions) but cames back if I change audio to
'software' mode. Crashes appears in both 'software' or
'hardware acceleration' mode.

Pretty weird. Just played and when i used helicopter...
system crashed again. Bluescreen! damnit. That was 3rd time
(I don't remember but atleast two of those crashes happened
with helicopter).
Usually my computer doesen't crash at all but there's
something weird in this mod what causes that damn
bluescreen. Suggestions? Really good mod indeed.
Computer:
Asus A7N8X (Nforce)
Athlon XP2600+
SB Live Value!
Gainward Geforce Ti4200
and drivers are uptodate.

Get the Via Hyperion 4.5x drivers you rookie
www.viaarena.com
They are in the download section, under Hyperion
Also consider installing the Via PCI latency patch,
correcting PCI latency in your BIOS and running the Creative
AutoUpdate for your sound drivers. (As Via Hyperion are
mainboard drivers)
Note: Without the Hyperion drivers your system is not setup
correctly, although it may appear 'reasonably stable' in
other applications.
