Is there a license issue for commercial use of meshlab?
I would like to know if introducing the use of Meshlab to a company is for commercial use and prohibited.
Like most of the open source tools, the use of the distributed binary is totally free by any obligation.
So yes, you can use the distributed binaries of MeshLab in any commercial enviroment for businees purposes. Similarl, is perfectly legal to provide training lessons and didactical material about MeshLab in commercial environment (and being payed for this).
On the other hand, if you are a developer, re-using any part of the source code of MeshLab is strictly restricted and limitated by what specified in the GPL.
