WRL IndexedFaceSet ignores colorindex

I am the developer of Jmol and have recently upgraded that program to create STL files and mesh-only WRL files for 3D printing. In doing this upgrade, I started using MeshLab for testing purposes. I've run into an odd bug, though. Cortona3D and whatever they use at ShapeWays has no issue. The issue seems to be that MeshLab ignores colorIndex and simply uses color Color { color [...]} as a list of colors, one per vertex. See attached.
