#392 Meshlab 1.3.3 won't boot up after download on Windows 7

I downloaded MeshLab and all appeared to go well however when I attempt to run the program from the desktop icon or the start menu what appears to be a welcome screen flickers on and off and then nothing happens.I am attempting to run this on Windows 7 and definitely downloaded the appropriate version.

Did you discover what was the issue? I have the same problem. Restart or reinstall don't work.
