No

When I make a 3D object in blender with multiple objects of different colors and then export it as .X3d and try to open it in Meshlab it shows the objects just fine. BUT when I close Meshlab completely and open the same file again with Meshlab the colours are gone, everything is grey ?!?!
Then I restart my computer and open the file with Meshlab again evrything is fine, but then I close meshlab completely and open the same file with meshlab again, no colours anymore.

Attached is the file compass.x3d. This file will show you the problem.

HELP, it's drivin me crazy.
Simply because I need meshlab to convert .X3D into .WRL because .WRL is the only format I can use in Labview and blender does not generate a .WRL file that is useable in labview.

I forgot to mention: the computer is working on windows XP prof. SP3

We are not able to duplicate the problem. We tried it with a win xp and with a win 7 pcs, and in both cases we had not any kind of problem.
