I remember I had a similar problem with suse 7.2
in /usr/include/GL you sould find glu.h
if isn't here you should pick up glu.h from distribution and 
put it in /usr/include/GL
and in /usr/lib we have a missing link
so what I had to do is 
ln -s libGLU.so.1 libGLU.so, it seems to be the same problem I 
dont know, anyway I send in attachement for you glu.h for 
version 3.3 to 3.4.2.
