[Mesa3d-users] Calling mesa functions from C

Hi,
I have to do a lot of 3d graphics. I have not used before
mesa. My main code is in C, Linux machine.
-Can I call mesa3d graphic functions from a C program?
-What kind of manual there exists about? I have seen
a good one for OpenGL, for NT server. Does it serve
for use of mesa3d in Linux?
