Hi to all, after a long time we're here to wish all the best for Christmas 2004 and the new year. What about a little gift? Tomorrow (December, 24th) we'll release the 0.1 version of phpForApplications!! These have been months of hard work to make p4a feature rich and stable, we hope you all will apreciate our work, thanks for all contributors and translators!!! There are too many changes from MerlinWork so we hope you'll take a look at it, more news and documentations will come. p4a is distribuited with 4 applications included: - sample_it (a very basic application, full code commented, in italian) - sample_en (a very basic application, full code commented, in english) - products_catalogue (a sample catalog for shops) - mysql_manager (a big project to automagically create web applications with a point and click interface, check it out!!!) Thank you all, have a great time! Fabrizio CreaLabs |

Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=2820704 By: balliano we use to set application wide variables with: $this->merlin->myvar = "myvalue"; so anywhere in the application you can read it easily. Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=2757990 By: nobody Ok, I've already tried it, but I had lots of erros with dependencies to others classes? and I don't think modifying the core classes will be a good idea because this classes are being updating by the developpers. Better wait for the new version, isn't it? Thanks. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=2756368 By: nobody hum, this is an ugly problem, if you think this is possible, try to "delete" the class "image" from merlinwork... the new generation of merlinwork (p4a) will resolve this problem because all classes will be p4a_class. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I'm currently trying to developp an application for managing projects (like every project manager). For that, I need to create a gantt graph displaying tasks .... I'm using the jpgraph modules (aditus.nu) When trying to include the file , i've got an error on duplicate declaration of the class image. MerlinWork and jpGraph use the same class Image. Is there a way to move around this problem? Thanks, PS : sorry for my english, i better use french. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Hi, I'm currently develop an application for managing project, products, ... 1. I just want to know if it is possible for opening a mask in a new window. For example, in a form, there's a button <...> so when you click on it, it'll display a new window so that you can select a record then update a field on the current mask. 2. how can I add values to a select field without using a table (db_source) 3.how can I change the themes? Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=2648499 By: robertgarrigos Checking this framework and wondering how could this work with subdomains. I'm working on an script that would provide different content depending on the subdomain but using the same core files. Would merlin cope with that functionality? thanks Robert ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. This is complete code of my function to free mask. It works. function free_mask($mask_name) { $merlin =& $GLOBALS['merlin']; if ($merlin->mask_exists($mask_name)) { $mask =& $merlin->masks[$mask_name]; $mask->listener->destroy(); $mask->destroy(); unset($merlin->masks[$mask_name]); } } Valery. |

Hi. Merlin keeps all once created masks (listeners) in session data. But many of them do not necessary all the time. To conserve resources I free unnecessary masks by this code: $this->merlin->masks['my_mask']->destroy(); unset($this->merlin->masks['my_mask']); How about to include this functionality in MERLIN class method (say, "free_mask" or "destroy_mask")? Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=2643970 By: nobody Hi, merlinwork should be perfecly php5 compatible (some users tested it but not the developers) but the compatibility is not native because we want merlinwork to continue to be compatible with php4 also, at least for the time php4 will be out there running. bye ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
