#143 option to restrict/expand the level of detail shown
There are some fields which are not of general interest (e.g. catalogue reference number for images), however they may be important to some people. We need a mechanism for hiding/showing these fields. It has been suggested that this is best done along the lines of the user/admin division but we could also just offer an option to show/hide these things in the interface.

i think a "more details" button/link would be appropriate to start thinking about. things such as cat. no. and copyright info, location of original media, don't need to be viewed by the av user, but can be discovered with one extra click.
the option to show/hide fields - would you see this as a feature available in the admin area, so that fields can be hidden/shown according to desires of users, so that we just decide on a default set of fields, and users can alter that later to suit needs?
perhaps Dave and Jay would know better, from being regular users/observers of users of AI, if there is obvious fields that should be displayed/hidden for users as opposed to admins?
could we start to generate a discussion of fields we want hidden/shown? I will start a list, and perhaps Jay could too and then we'll put these onto the developers list for more discussion.
