#1 Wrong Login/Password

Using known working login/password MEGWAT returns "Failure: Wrong login or password".
checking egroupware accesslogs i see
Bad login or password XXXXXXX@default XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX 2011/08/21 01:20

On Egroupware Version 1.8.002

I encountered the same thing. It seems to be related to type of encryption used. MEGWAT is written for MD5 and somewhere along the line egroupware seems to have changed to sha256_crypt

BTW, this is the statement that is apparently failing "prepare('SELECT * FROM egw_accounts e WHERE e.account_lid=:account and e.account_pwd=md5(:passwd)" it is in ./model/user_model.class.php. The egroupware module ./phpgwapi/inc/class.auth_sql.inc.php seems to give a clue of how to fix it.
