Feature request for an unofficial/house rule to decrease the number of hexes in a straight line a conventional fighter must move before being allowed to turn to 0.75x (while over the ground map)
The basic concept is to increase the maneuverability of conventional fighters in low-altitude engagements, where they're meant to be utilized.
Snooze ya loose I guess. Someone beat me to it.
Basic idea is to increase conventional fighter maneuverability on the ground map to reflect the low altitude table for straight line movement before turning on page 84 of Total Warfare.
My thought was reduce the hexes needed to move before turning, by subtracting your velocity from the required number of hexes before turning. Seem to match the low altitude table somewhat.
