This wasn't even a game, it was just a test of the new space gif I made. Your white hex borders do not work very well and probably cause errors in the program, they sure don't redraw right. Anyways normal Megamek doesn't do that, the hex borders are part of the .gif images themselves. So I made a new space.gif and will upload it to the data section.
