I am testing MediaTomb on Ubuntu 14.04.2 for later use on a RaspberryPi (maybe with xbian).
As a client (for this test) I am using a Phillips NP2900 hardware-streaming-client. I can see the media. but I am not able to navigate by the id3-tag-informations.
Behind each "Audio" menu is just an "Unknown" entry and the files are all behind there.
e.g. "Audio/Genre/Unkown/"
e.g. "Audio/Artists/Unkown/"
e.g. "Audio/Year/Unkown/*"
etc.
