It is possible to add specific flags or tags for audio/subtitles streams? for example:

  • main
  • headphone
  • commentary
  • info

so it is possible for the player to determine what kind of track it is.

    MediaInfo already support such metadata disply, e.g. with AC-3 "mode" ("Complete Main", "Music and Effects", "Visually Impaired", "Hearing Impaired", "Dialogue", "Commentary", "Emergency","Voice Over"} in "Service kind" MediaInfo field;

    If something is missing from your point of view, you need to provide a sample file containing such information not yet displayed by MediaInfo and say the expected result.

    so it is possible for the player to determine what kind of track it is.

    I don't understand that part, as MediaInfo is a reporter so the output is from MediaInfo, not for another player. If you yant a player to support such metadata, you need to ask the feature to the developer of the player.
