Is this file playable? (I can not read it with VLC...)
From my point of view, the file is buggy, "Primary Frame Byte Size minus 1" is wrong, its value is 3584 but the frame size is 3584 (header says 3584+1=3585). If I edit the file and change 3584 with 3583, the file plays fine with VLC.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
dtswav is recognized perfectly fine.
But .dts (ie created with besplit) does NOT
besplit -core (-logfile c:\temp\besplit.log -input w:\01_Track01.dtswav -output W:\01_Track01.dts -type dtswav -b 1411)
One such .dts is here

Yes, the file is playable in foobar with dts decoder plugin or with MPC-HC with AC3filter (that is playback to internal 2.0 speakers)
Ofcourse it also plays via Spdif out with foobar & spdif plugin to external amp
Correct, VLC does not play it
MPC-HT gives:

So it would be at byte 6 - E00 to DFF ?
Or in more places
"...If I edit the file and change 3584 with 3583, the file plays fine with VLC..."
I want to figure it out if maybe besplit is at fault here
