AAC has variable bitrate, if the container has no duration information, I can not compute the duration without parsing the whole file.
an option for parsing the whole file (longer analysis) is planned.

For some AAC files Mediainfo doesn't provide duration and bitrate. How do I know those files' length? Is it possible with Mediainfo? Thanks.
