Hello!

I'm using MediaInfo.dll 0.7.21 in combination with Media Player Classic Homecinema 1.3.1249.0 (MediaInfo tab displayed in file properties window).

Please see this file: http://www.outburst-audio.com/maik/mediainfo-ogg-vbr.rar (7.54 MB)

MediaInfo says:

General
Complete name : D:\USB Stick\Music\Defiant - Visions.ogg
Format : OGG
File size : 7.58 MiB
Duration : 6mn 10s
Overall bit rate : 172 Kbps
Track name : Visions
Performer : Defiant

Audio
ID : 1983932931 (0x76406A03)
Format : Vorbis
Format settings, Floor : 1
Duration : 6mn 10s
Bit rate mode : Constant
Bit rate : 192 Kbps
Channel(s) : 2 channels
Sampling rate : 48.0 KHz
Stream size : 8.48 MiB
Writing library : libVorbis 20090709 (UTC 2009-07-09)

Why does it say "Contant" bit rate mode? In my opinion it should read "Variable" for this file. Or am I wrong?

Audio bitrate is read from Vorbis header.
General bitrate is read from file size and duration.

There is definetly an incoherency between header and reality.
I will try to see how I can manage this kind of "corrupted" file.

File was created using oggenc2.exe via foobar2000:

    -s %r -Q -q6,000000 - -o %d
