Tested with https://mediaarea.net/download/binary/mediainfo-gui/18.08.1/MediaInfo_GUI_18.08.1_Windows.exe on Windows 10, no crash.
I can not reproduce, I need more details.
I see that the color space indicated is wrong, I'll change that.
Hello, I download your version but the same problem happens (as you can see in the joined picture) on my windows 10. MediaInfo try to open the file but does not respond until many minutes. It eventually display an empty result. Of course, it only happens on this jpg file.

Phuoc
What is the output? i.e. is it detected as a video stream? it may happen if you have files with file names behaving as a sequence (1, 2, 3...) for checking content with 1 file per frame, and can be disabled with
--File_TestContinuousFileNames=0, else I don't get for the moment the difference between your test and mine, so difficult to find a fix as I can not reproduce the issue :(I also renamed it but the problem is still the same. The output is the one set by default ("basic"). I also try by using the dll with File_TestContinuousFileNames=0 but the issue is the same...
It seems to fail on Open method.
Impossible for us right now to reproduce, we try with other machines.
Same with other machines.
Did you test by donloading the file you uploaded? (in case SourceForge changes something)
Did you test on other machines on your side?
Yes, it seems the downloaded file is... different cause there is no crash with it. How to send you the original failed file?
Regards,
Phuoc
Fun...
I think it should be OK if you ZIP it.
Here it is
Fixed, with also better support of the color space.
