DNxHR MXF and MOV files seem to report Chroma Subsampling as 4:2:0 instead of either 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 depending on the format.

Additionally there is inconsistencies in the Bit Depth however this might be software related. Avid MXF OP1a reporting DNxHR 444 as 10bit whereas an Avid QT export in DNxHR 444 reports 12bit. Again - this is more likely Avid.

chroma subsampling and bitdepth are pretty well defined in VC-3 specs (technical name for DNxHD/DNxHR) since they published the specs.

Do you use an up to date version of MediaInfo?
Please provide a sample file (I need only 1 frame), I can provide a private FTP server access if you need private upload.

I noticed the same issue with DNxHR 444 MXF OP-Atom and QuickTime from Resolve. It always shows YUV 4:2:0 12 Bit even if it's 444 RGB 10Bit or 12Bit. Here is a link to download sample files (1 frame of Kodak Digital LAD). I'm on Version 0.7.99 of MediaInfo and DaVinci Resolve 14.0.1 (I also tested on DaVinci Resolve 12.5.6 and got the same results).
