#533 Trailer Scraping having Issues...

So I have tried everything I know how to do. No trailers scrape.

Tried updating ....

Open a command prompt in the Media Companion folder Assets
There type
youtube-dl.exe --update

Worked for me last time but below is the error.

What version of Windows? If Windows 7, downloaded is no longer supported damn it.

Also, in the Asset folder of Media Companion, just run the
'ztest.bat' file, will try an update of 'yt-dlp_x86.exe'

Windows 10. ztest.bat file isn't in my asset file or any other folder within the media companion folder. Do I need to download it elsewhere and then put it in the asset folder and then run it??

So sorry, batch file should have been included in the release.

But MC 3.771b has the latest yt_dlp version

I've attached the batch file, place it in the assets folder.

Thank you but....

So it downloads a movie-trailer "file" after the download is complete it throws this error.

If I convert the .file to .mp4 it sometimes plays normally.

Is should be renaming the file to.... M3GAN 2.0 (2025) (1080p)-trailer. (extension) and I think this is the hangup.
