What I did in the past was wipe out all the jpgs in the actor folder, or just delete the actor folder. Right-click on the series and use Re-Scraper Wizard, and click actors under series. Then it would scrape the series actors only not episodes.

It's not doing that anymore. I re-scraped the entire series of Solar Opposites because I deleted my old copy and added a better one. Afterwards, I clicked on Cheers after I deleted the 410+ actor images, then I used the wizard to scrape series actors and when I looked at what was scraped, it had added the Solar Opposites actors.

I deleted actors from nfo file, deleted actor folder, refreshed from nfo and tried again, and Solar Opposites was again scraped.

So, I shut the app down, deleted Caches/Missing/SeriesXML and started MediaCompanion up again and this time it worked.

I then clicked Wonderfalls after I deleted the actor folder, used the wizard to re-scrape, and this time I got Cheers actors.

It seems to ignore what is currently chosen and uses what was previously scraped, unless I shut the app off, delete the 3 folders, start the app up again and try again.

I have not tried a Refresh All, simply because with that many TV series folder, it takes too long, it's faster to just close, delete folders, open again. Will update though later today since I have a few more folders being replaced/updated.

Run out of time to look into this tonight, possible be able to on the weekend.
Just curious, how many series do you have?

There is a chance, that MC pointers are still on the last series when you run a rescrape wizard on another series, specially if the Tally of series and episodes is high.

I was gonna test a bit tonight but ended up doing something else with some videos... replacing a bunch with better copies and having to shrink a bunch of stuff is taking a long time. I need a PC upgrade. :D 5:30am here though and not yet gone to bed so... no testing tonight.

    165 TV series
    864 Movies

Maybe attach your configuration.xml so I can test with your settings.

Ha, rocking the 4th gen i7 here myself.

Just got a new job, so looking to upgrade by Dec, though discovered that the current 13/14th gen Intels are having a lot of issues with no real fix yet... kinda makin' me want to avoid an upgrade. Ryzen an option, but I know littel about what's comparable.

    episodes, 7215
