When I scrape most of my episode I'm receiving errors from media companion saying the episode could not be found. If I manually browse out to thetvdb.com I'm able to successfully find the episode. I would say this issue occurs with 90% of my episodes. I have verified the TVdbID matches. I'm not sure if this is an issue with TVdb or Media Companion.
In the TV Settings I checked to use TVDb api V1 and was able to successfully scrape a show that previously received errors.
Yes, I have noticed some series were not scraping with V2 API. While other series were scraping.
I will investigate.
I believe I'm having the same issue, or at least something very similar.
Just scraped a bunch of episodes from multiple shows, no problem. Then I tried to scrape the latest season of South Park and the log spit out this for every episode:
Detected : Season : 26 Episode : 01
*----Using MC TVDB api V1 Scraper----*
Using Settings: TVdbID: 75897 SortOrder: default Language: en Actor Source: tvdb
Scraping body of episode: 1
WARNING: This episode: 1 - could not be found on tvdb
WARNING: Could not locate this episode on tvdb, or tvdb may be unavailable
-ERROR!
Same thing with V2 of the scraper.
Ofc when checking manually on TVDB the entire season is there, just as to be expected.
It could be a backend issue at TVDB, or they are finally turning off V2 of their API.
It may finally be time to complete the move to TMDb.
So I have V2 not working for most TV shows, so V1 still works (not turned off)? I just tried V1 and it worked on all 8 failing TV shows I had.

There is no consistent way to scrape with V2 api from TVDB.
My suggestion is to change to TMDB
Steps:
1. Run Batch wizard and select TMDB Id.
2. Run the wizard.
3. Once completed, go to Folder tab
4. Change source from TVDb to TMDB. for your root series folder.
5. Click save and MC will change the scrapefrom entry in all series under selected root folder, to tmdb
6. Finally go back to main Tv Browser tab, and select Refresh All.
Scraping will now scrape episodes from TMDb.
Alternative method for a single series:
Open Series nfo (right click series and select view TvShow.nfo
Scroll to bottom of nfo and change scrapefrom from tvdb to be tmdb
Save nfo.
right click series and select refresh from nfo.
Episodes will now scrape from TMDb.
First method will also change actor source to TMDb.
Really bizzare thing is Just scraped S01E06 of Last Thing He Told Me on V2 and success.
Then tried S03E17 of The Equalizer and failed on V2, success on V1.
Found a fix for the issue with TVDb scraping episodes.
Will push a new release later today.
Not saying TVDb will remain operational in MC, but worked around a glitch their V2 API is having.
Fix in place with the new release out now. MC 3.760b
I just tried the new release and it doesn't work for V1 or V2 scrape on season 20 episode 21:

Damn it, I tested on two series I had issues with and got it working. Will investigate if anything I can do to get this to scrape.
Another new build just uploaded, same version but ends in C with 2nd fix for TVDb episode scraping.
