#22 fullscreen mode option -f does not work

When I start mcomix with the -f option (fullscreen), it will not open in fullscreen. Also, the fullscreen switch is disabled. The photos cannot be viewed in fullscreen anymore. The same behaviour happens when fullscreen is selected in the preferences. No fullscreen viewing is possible with this preference selected (see Preferenes -> Display -> Use fullscreen by default).

Cannot reproduce this behaviour on my machine, neither WSLg nor Windows 10. Can you supply more details, i.e. your operating system? Maybe try with a clean configuration?

I have Ubuntu 23.04 and I tried the deb package version, as well as the
tar.gz version. It uses python3.11.
