There are no batch converters for comics formats out there, that I'm aware of, other than scripts such as this. This would alleviate users of proprietary formats (rar) and otherwise batchconverting between formats.

Peazip is quite good and includes tools to batch convert from ZIP to RAR that might be of some use to you
