Hello Dev.

MComix already support some archive format, and is backed by 7zip. Meanwhile, 7zip support width range of archive format. There are formats which still not supported by MComix yet. It would be great if MComix also support these. This will make MComix not only act as comic reader, but also archive viewer (particularly image file). At 7zip view point, this is indirect mutual relationship, because 7zip lack file viewer. Some archive manager already has this one, whether built into the core or as a plugin. Maybe in the future there will be join effort between MComix and 7zip to integrate each other (hopefully).

Thank you very much for your request. Could you please explain in more detail which file formats (or archive formats) you are missing?

My favorite format is "iso". iso is very popular. I really miss this one.

There are plentiful format already supported by 7zip: cab, xz, txz, lzma, cpio, bz2, bzip2, tbz2, gz, gzip, tgz, tpz, z, taz, lzh, rpm, deb, arj, vhd, wim, swm.

Similar with iso, there is another virtualization format already supported by 7zip: dmg, vhd.

7zip even supports file system: fat, ntfs, hfs, xar, squashfs. I don't know whether these are relevant or not to be supported by MComix.

There are also some format (as far as i know) not yet supported by 7zip: nrg, cue, img. these are also popular.

I hope you are interested to add more.
    Best Regards.
