McKillbot - A Half-Life Bot / News: Recent posts

Every Information management like forums, bugs, features etc. will from now on be done via the portal on the homepage http://mckillbot.sourceforge.net .

After some hazzles due to my unexperiencedness with CVS I uploaded the CVS tree. In /mckillbot/dlls it contains the files for the bot. There a Linux and a Windows makefile. I compiled with gcc under Linux and bcc55 under windows, it all went fine and I managed to run the bot under linux and windows dedicated servers. So technically it should be possible to start development work now.

Okay - I finally created the "McKillbot" project on SF. My next plans are
1. Comparing and analyzing existing bots
2. Project outline / Milestone definition

Before I exactly define the new bot, the features it should have and the milestones how to go there I want to analyze existing bots that are already out and document this analysis. Since I don't want to re-invent the wheel I'll first check out existing solutions, evaluate them and then start planning the bot as a whole..
