#23 Elegant error handling instead of Exception driven

Hi,

Please improve the error handling.
Stop beeing exception driven and start using end user
friendly error message.
Better management of the UI flow.
Example : When adding a new classpath entry to a
connection the first time I click on the empty line
created by the tool I get
the "java.lang.IllegalStateException: WARNING: Going
from readAccess to writeAccess, see #10778:

id=10778" exception.
Why ? I just followed the intruction.
